Saol and Bàs is a puzzle game currently in development. The player controls two characters at the same time, the spirits of life and death, managing both their unique powers and their locations to solve the puzzles laid out before them.

Team Role: Lead Designer

Contributions: 

- Worked with a small team on level and tutorial design, as well as finalizing each level design that was implemented into the game. 

- In charge of animations for all obstacles and and environmental pieces.

- Lead initial concept, story, and mechanics design alongside each respective team. 

- Assisted in programming, art implementation, and cross team communication when necessary. 

As the lead designer, I was responsible for managing both the design document, which housed reference images, game play mechanics, story basis, and programming details, as well as each of those teams to ensure that they were on task and all informed about what was expected from the project. 

During the later half of the year I also was responsible for informing new team members on all the inner workings of the game's design, and mentoring them in the Unity Engine. Through hard work we were able to present our game at Becker College's PAX East booth where we received feedback through countless play tests and were able to use that knowledge to improve aspects of our game that may have been lacking.
